A glimpse at other

CD morceau par morceau me semble superflu.
(...) the five members
of Mikromidas place the bar very high with this extremely elegant,
refined, progressive kind of pop piece. (...) To describe this CD in
detail seems to me superfluous.
This group did their entry into the "circuit" a number of years ago
and perhaps they have already reached their "Tarkus", provided that they
are not only one comet in the galaxy where too many groups much poorer are
hustled. Attention ! On the Richter scale, the jolt could reach the
maximum. You have been warned.

écouter!!!
(...) Mikromidas made a
success of their entry in the progressive circuit. The five musicians (of
whom two are guitarists) control their instruments very well. Believe my words. We will surely meet this group
again, sooner or later! Hear
them!!!

musical consequent.
(...) To conclude, this honourable first work
shows the consistent musical potential of this group.

A first album filled with strength and freshness,
with compositions which quickly get on your mind, but where you can also
discover more in-depth multiple subtleties. This album is a beautiful
success and we hope to hear from this group again as soon as
possible.

The fact that they sing
in Norwegian doesn’t waste anything. I even think that it would have been
a shame if they didn’t. In
conclusion ; check out the music of these
Norwegians, who present at their first attempt a work of great quality.
It’s a beautiful success, and we look forward to the
continuation.

(...) The element that lifts this album above the
average level of CD’s is the compelling sound of the unsurpassed Mellotron
and legendary Hammond organ along inventive guitar play. Most songs are
layered with flute-, violin- and choir-Mellotron, what a thrill to hear
all those majestic eruptions (…)

There are nods towards bands such as Anekdoten,
Landberk and Anglagard amongst others, but the fluidity of the playing and
interaction between the musicians does give the release an independent
feel (…) Well worth checking out!

Brennende Drømmer is
has become a beautiful symphonic disc for the retro rockers amongst
us.

conclusioni.
You will find all the
Nordic references, but the Mikromidas demonstrates good personality (...)
There are parts that resemble symphonic music, but the equilibrium seems
to be the main characteristic of the band. A sad, dark and in some parts hard
disc, but it doesn’t bring any of these characteristics to the extreme
conclusions.

Album.
The key boards rides a
rather symphonic rail, and not so surprising, the straight Mellotron
inserts in the typical-Scandinavian style provide for the right tendency -
sometimes dark, sometimes bombastic (...) an interesting
album.
